Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

Whether officials have had any correspondence, legal or otherwise, over the possibility of extraditing Libyan doctor Sam Eljamel to Scotland ahead of the public inquiry into the scandal? Additionally, I would like to request any documentation of discussions between the Scottish and UK Governments over the possibility of Sam Eljamel being extradited back to Scotland.

Response

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested as PDFs.

Exemptions under sections 38(1) and 36(1) of FOISA apply to some of the information you have requested.
