Background to the Sustainable Development Indicators
A revised set of sustainable development indicators was published in June 2006 following discussion with key partners and stakeholders. Prior to this the Executive had been reporting annually against a balanced set of indicators in 'Meeting the Needs'.
The revised set builds on the set in 'Meeting the Needs', more closely aligning the indicators to the outcomes in Choosing our future and the UK Framework.
