Core Indicators Task Group - Remit
This short-life group will support the development of the Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics standard reports taking account of Community Planning and Health Partnership needs and will advise on:
- A list of indicators that should be included in a core set of socio-economic indicators for small areas in SNS, and the topics that these indicators might be grouped;
- Guidance on the purpose of each indicator and how it supports policy. This would cover the type of indicator e.g. output or outcome and how they relate to each another;
- Assess which indicators are not already available through SNS;
- Processes for ensuring the list of core indicators and guidance is maintained;
- The list of geographies for which standard reports should be available through SNS;
- The format of SNS standard reports - this is part of the SNS Development contract;
- The needs of Community Planning and Health Partnerships;
- Ensuring the work and outputs of the group are disseminated widely. Members of the group will disseminate information about the work of the group to their stakeholders and across their professions and sectors.
