Scottish House Condition Survey
This is the largest single housing research project in Scotland, and the only national survey to look at the physical condition of Scotland's homes as well as the experiences of householders.
The current survey fieldwork period is January 2008 to December 2008. The latest survey report (January 2007 to December 2007) is available below.

This is the fourth Key Findings report to be produced since the SHCS moved to a continuous format in 2003. Prior to 2003 surveys were conducted in 1991, 1996 and 2002 and typically consisted of sample sizes of around 15,000 paired social and physical cases.
