Both usually meet about once a year, and include representatives of most of the types of users with an interest in the statistics which they cover. Members are also consulted by e-mail, between meetings, from time to time.
You may also be interested in the (UK-wide) Transport Statistics Users Group, which tends to hold one "Scottish" meeting per year.
