What is a Below Average Income?

The Scottish and UK Governments, define below average income as households with an income of less than 60% of the UK weekly average after housing costs.

Progress is tracked using figures taken from the Household Below Average Income - HBAI figures compiled annually by the Department for Work and Pensions.
