Multiple Complex Needs Initiative
The Scottish Executive's new Multiple and Complex Needs initiative aims to improve public services for those with multiple and complex needs - some of the very hardest to reach in society who may not have benefited from recent improvements to service delivery because they find it difficult to access services and/or to maximise their own benefit from them.
MCN Seminar
The "Taking the First Steps" Seminar was held at the Stirling Management Centre on 11 September 2006 . The Seminar was themed around "Getting In... Getting Through... Getting On...," and focussed on how services at each stage of a cycle on engagement can be best delivered to those in most need and who face the most complex barriers to their social inclusion.
A total of 6 workshops were held across the morning and afternoon and provided delegates with the opportunity to delve deeper into the issues surrounding specific aspects of the initiative. To view the presentations from the workshops please click on the links below.
