The Executive recognises that accessibility and access to services are particularly important for older people. People over 60 now have access to free local off-peak bus travel. New trains and buses with improved access are being supported through the Public and Integrated Transport Funds. In rural areas, the Rural Transport Fund is supporting local bus services and community transport initiatives.
