Recognising that women's needs are complex - depending on socio-economic background, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation and faith - the Government organised a series of round table events in 2005 to better inform the work of the Government and in 2006 the Government asked the Scottish Women's Convention to organise three more round tables.
