The Gender Audit, independent research commissioned by the Scottish Government to provide a review of statistics on gender differences and inequalities in Scotland across a range of key areas of social and economic life, was published in March 2007.

PRIME is a collection of equality related (web-based) resources, designed to help policy makers and researchers understand the broad range of equality issues that have relevancy across policy areas.

The Equalities Research Team provides research support and advice to the Government's Equality Unit and is responsible for developing a research evidence base to support implementation of the Government's Equality Strategy. The work of the team covers a range of equality dimensions including gender.

The HLSES is a compendium of equality statistics which presents statistical trends on the main areas of Government activity in Scotland across a number of equality strands including gender.
