Members of the Steering Group represent the following organisations:

Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland (ACPOS)

The Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland is the collective organisation of Chief Constables, Deputy Chief Constables and Assistant Chief Constables from the eight Police forces in Scotland and is the strategic body which oversees and co-ordinates all aspects of the direction and development of the Scottish Police Service as a whole.

Confederation of Passenger Transport (Scotland)

The Confederation of Passenger Transport UK is the trade association for bus, coach, light rail and metro operators. The site provides statistics and transport related data and has a Scottish Headquarters in Edinburgh.

Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA)

CoSLA, the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, is the representative voice of Scottish local government and also acts as the employers' association on behalf of all Scottish councils.

Crown Office

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service is Scotland's independent public prosecution service (similar to the Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales). It is a Department of the Scottish Executive, led by the Lord Advocate and the Solicitor General for Scotland, who are the legal advisers to the Executive and sit in the Scottish Parliament.

Health & Safety Executive (HSE)

The Health and Safety Executive in Scotland provides information on the work of the HSE and its partners in delivering higher standards of workplace health and safety in Scotland and the rest of the UK

The Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives

Offers a free and confidential National advice line for employees and employers who require advice and guidance to address the risk of verbal and physical abuse in the workplace. Professional advisers who can carry out a workplace visit to identify the occupational health and safety needs in your organisation are available throughout Scotland.

Scotland Office

The Scotland Office, headed up by the Secretary of State for Scotland, is part of the Department for Constitutional Affairs, based in Whitehall, London. The Office's key roles are to represent Scotland's interests at Westminster and act as guardian to the Devolution Settlement

Scottish Business Crime Centre

The Scottish Business Crime Centre is a non-profit making organisation created in 1996 under the Business Crime Reduction Strategy for Scotland, to establish a unique partnership approach between the Police, business community and Government.

Scottish Retail Consortium

The Scottish Retail Consortium (SRC) was launched in April 1999 as a retail trade association for the full range of retailers in Scotland, from the major high street retailers and supermarkets to a number of trade associations representing smaller retailers.

Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC)

Scotland's Trade Union centre represents around 630,000 trade unionists. Its purpose is to co-ordinate, develop and articulate the views and policies of the trade union movement in Scotland and, through the creation of real social partnership, to promote: trade unionism; equality and social justice; the creation and maintenance of high quality jobs; and the public sector delivery of services.

Youthlink

YouthLink Scotland aims to support the development of accessible, high quality youth work services which promote the well-being and development of young people.
