The above Consultation is now closed. It ran from 19 December 2007 until 14 March 2008 and over 1,200 responses were received. The Sexual Offences (Scotland) Bill was introduced to the Scottish Parliament on 18 June 2008 to reform the law on rape and sexual offences and is broadly based on proposals from the Scottish Law Commission
