Local Authority Guidance: With Inclusion In Mind

" With Inclusion in Mind" provides aspirational guidance and best practice to enable individuals and services in local authorities to understand and fulfil their duties under Sections 25-31 of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act (2003).

It will includes a toolkit to assisit services users to audit the services provided by the LA and their community planning partners.

The feedback from the audit will help LAs to:

• promote their programme of continuous improvement
• promote adherence with their new duties under the Disability Discrimination Act (1995)
