The Scottish Government, on behalf of the Community Council Working Group (CCWG), have undertaken a consultation on the draft Model Scheme of Establishment of Community Councils and draft Code of Conduct for Community Councillors.
These documents were produced by the CCWG following the recommendations that arose from the Review of Community Councils and responses to the discussion paper "What can we do to help Community Councils Fulfil their Role?", which was undertaken in 2005/06.
The consultation exercise closed on 1 August 2008.
