This Annual Report summarises NHSScotland's performance in 2007/08 and sets out its achievements during the year. If you would like to find out more about NHSScotland there are a range of publications and websites that offer information on different aspects of the service. 60th Anniversary of the NHS in Scotland
This website looks at the birth and development of the NHS in Scotland and forms part of the celebrations of 60 years of the NHS.
Chief Medical Officer's Report
This report looks at the health of the nation. In particular it focuses on areas such as smoking, mental health, nutrition and communicable diseases. or it can be obtained from Blackwell's Bookshop, 53 South Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1YS ( business.edinburgh@blackwell.co.uk ).
Scotland Performs
This is a national website setting out progress towards achieving the targets, outcomes and indicators which form the National Performance Framework. Scotland Performs includes a number of measures relating to health.
