Notes:

1. Includes Glasgow Housing Association stock from 2003, and all other housing associations from June 2005 onward.

2. The category 'other' includes mainly private landlords. Prior to June 1999 the figures may also include an unknown number of local authority-owned chalets or mobile homes.

3. From June 2005, this includes households with pregnant women. Figures from this point onward are therefore not strictly comparable with previous ones.

4. 542 of the households in temporary accommodation on 31 March 2008 were asylum seekers in Glasgow who have not previously been included in the homelessness statistics. 522 of these were households with dependent children. 1,092 dependent children were in the households. As the inclusion of these households would overstate the underling year-on-year change the table shows the % increase from March 2007 both including and excluding these households.
