Campaign Response Examples

The majority of campaign responses used text provided by the respective campaign organisers.
A minority of respondents adapted the text either by changing some of the wording or by adding specific additional comments.

Examples of standard and adapted responses from each campaign are given below.
All documents are in PDF format.

Friends of the Earth campaign - 187 responses
This campaign consisted of e-mails containing combinations of set answers to most or all of the 33 consultation questions. Some respondents also added individual comments.

RSPB campaign - 729 responses

The RSPB ran two campaigns with separate strands for Scottish and international respondents - generating 657 and 72 responses respectively.

WWF campaign - 19,771 responses
WWF ran three campaigns. Separate strands for Scottish and international respondents - generating 1,130 and 12,944 responses respectively and a postcard campaign generating 5,697 responses.
