7. ANNEX A: MINIMUM HOURLY RATES AND OVERTIME RATES FOR AGRICULTURAL WORKERS
Minimum Hourly Rates
There are 2 main pay scales. One is for workers who have been with their present employer for not more than 26 weeks and the other for workers who have been with their present employer for more than 26 weeks.
The minimum hourly rates of pay are as follows:

Additional payment for qualifications
Workers who have been with the same employer for more than 26 weeks and who hold a Scottish (or National) Vocational Qualification in an agricultural subject at Level III or above and those who hold a Certificate of Acquired Experience are entitled to be paid an additional sum of at least £0.90 per hour for non-overtime hours from 1 October 2007.
Minimum Hourly Overtime Rates
Overtime is payable when a worker works for more than 8 hours on any day or for more than 39 hours in any week. The overtime rates are as follows:
