2. THE VOLUNTEER LIFE CYCLE
2.1 The outcomes of the Action Plan are based around the stages of the volunteer life cycle, at all stages emphasising recognition of the value and impact of volunteers. This is a flexible model, adaptable and relevant to individual volunteers' own preferences and motivations. By having the right support at each stage, a volunteer will be able to give most value to their organisation while, at the same time, getting the optimum benefit and satisfaction from their time and input.
