ADDING LIFE TO YEARS
ANNUAL REPORT 2002-03
CONCLUSION
Scots of all ages want opportunities to be active and to participate. The Scottish Executive is committed to enabling people to fulfil their potential and to contribute. Our job is to knock down the barriers that prevent this happening. That is why we are investing for all our futures in key areas such as transport, housing, health and care services, lifelong learning, and better and warmer housing. And that is why we are working with our partners, including older people themselves, to develop services that respond to people's needs as they grow older.
Building a healthy caring Scotland, a safer and fairer Scotland and an accessible Scotland - apply to people of all ages. Our aim is to have the services in place to deliver a better quality of life for Scotland's older people and to make Scotland an even better place to live for people of all ages.
