The annual analysis of Civil Service sickness absence, including the Scottish Government (named as Scottish Executive in the analysis), has been published for the period 1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007 and is available on the Civil Service Website.
Sickness absence is an issue that the Scottish Government takes very seriously indeed. The government continues to undertake a significant amount of work to reduce absence levels.
